Meet Bruce Jenkins

A Little About Me

Originally from the Midwest, Bruce Jenkins studied business administration and captained the Morningside College basketball team in Sioux City, Iowa before playing professional basketball in France for five years. He returned to attend law school at the University of Toledo in Ohio, and enjoyed contractual law so much, he felt his studies were best suited to a career in insurance. Now specializing in life and health insurance, with a focus on Medicare insurance, prescription, and supplement plans, Bruce is a valuable community resource not just for those turning 65, but everyone looking to properly insure themselves against unforeseen circumstances. Bruce’s services are free, as the insurance companies pay him directly, and he can often be found teaching seminars on understanding insurance and Medicare throughout the community. With his law degree, there are few insurance agents who understand contractual insurance plans quite like he does. Give him a call and find the insurance plan that’s right for you.

My Focus

Planning For Financial Security

Since I work with clients who are 65 or older, many of them are retired or getting ready to retire and need help with planning their financial security.

Advances in the health industry are making it possible for people to live longer and they will need to have enough money set aside to not only maintain their desired standard of living but to also afford medication and supplementary healthcare as they get older.

Most of my business is focused on Medicare Health Insurance Plans but helping my clients maintain their financial stability is the fastest-growing part of my business.

I can explain how Social Security works and advise you on what is the best age to start collecting Social Security benefits. I can show you other financial strategies to help you create a well-rounded retirement plan so you can continue living your life on your terms.

Why You Should Work with Me

What sets me apart from other agents in the same field? I listen… and ask very direct questions so I can understand what your needs and concerns are.

I treat each one of my clients as if they were my only one. Not everyone has the same life situation and I do the necessary research to create a custom plan based on your needs and affordability.

There Are Challenges with Every Health Plan

One of the most challenging parts of my job is to find a plan that can afford the expensive medications you may need or find a plan where you can use your preferred doctor.

There is always something out there whether it’s Medicare Health Insurance Plans, Medical, Medicaid, Advantage Plans, Vet programs, or even Covered California, that will be the solution for my client, I just need to find it. That is why I spend the necessary time doing research for the benefit of my clients.

I don’t charge for my services, the Insurance Companies pay me, but it’s important to understand that I represent my clients and not the insurance companies.  I will always go the extra mile and work tirelessly to get you the best possible coverage for the best price.

I stay current on any changes or updates to Medicare Health Insurance Plans, Social Security, and Financial Regulations. My continuing education required by the Center for Medicare Services (CMS) and California Department of Insurance keep me updated on any changes to Medicare Health Insurance Plans and the Insurance Companies I am licensed with keep me informed on any changes to their programs.

I Enjoy What I'm Doing

I get great satisfaction when one of my clients must see a specialist for vision, dental, foot, or knee replacement and can comfortably afford it because of the work I did for them. I will continue to grow my business one client at a time specializing in the best service I can offer.
